Virtual Printer
In the field of Information technology, India is known to be one of the top countries in the world. We the Indians are also leading user of Computers Systems. Most of us has computer at our home as well at our work place but what I’ve personally observed is that Most of us have a Desktop PC or a Laptop at home, but about 80% don’t have a Printer at home.
I’ve seen friends of mine getting their documents in some storage device such as a Pen- Drive and getting them printed in the Market at one of the Cyber-Café. But these days, there has been a very deep problem with this trend because when we fill-out any online application form, there is no option for us to save it as document so that we can get it printed later; rather there is direct option for printing provided. Yes, it might sound a bit awkward but its true that only due to this reason, we often tend fill out those important forms at Internet Cafés so that we can get them printed tem at once.
So, for such users, I would like to recommend very small software (just 1.5 MB) named Virtual PDF Printer, which is a very useful in cases like above. Once installed on your computer system, when you give the command to print a document or Form, there arises an extra option by the name “Virtual Printer”. And, when you click it, it simply saves a PDF version of that page which just looks like the original page (rather I would say that it is the replica of original document). This PDF can be saved at any place and can be printed at any-time.
